Chicago's Green Fest

Hey

I was able to get to Chicago's Green Festival last Saturday and it didn't disappoint! The place was packed to a point where I think they are going to need more space for next year. Every conceiveable topic relating to the environment was covered.

I've reorganized the links to click section of the site =====> in an alphabetical manner for easier use. I've also added the link to one of the hubs of Chicago's Green movement, Green Exchange.

There is a great new exhibit opening up at The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum this Thursday, May 22 named Lawn Nation. Be sure to head to a class or a presentation!

I'd like to comment on the recent news that oilman T Boone Pickens has ordered over 600 wind turbines from GE for installation in Texas. "This is awesome!!!!!!!!!!" Here is the story from Forbes

Northside College Prep recently had a "State of The Planet" colloquium last Friday, May 16 and the kids were able to listen to talks from heads of government, corporations, and other organizations involved in protecting our natural resources and participate in activities around the school that did enhance the natural environment around Northside College Prep. Congrats to them!

As always, I am asking you to go to my donation page and subscribe to A Fresh Squeeze. It's free and for every person that signs up, the blog will donate $0.25 to The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum! Also be sure to click on the links page as there is so much more info to receive and use!
