Coskata/GM ethanol partner

Hey everyone

There is a company located in Warrenville named Coskata that produces ethanol using biomass. The process holds many benefits including less than one gallon of water used per gallon of ethanol produced, use of multiple biomass materials, and many more. I recommend checking out the website and read more on this company. Vinod Khosla, the venture capitalist, has joined the venture. General Motors has also purchased a stake in the company. http://biz.yahoo.com/nytimes/080115/1194736753103.html?.v=21

A Fresh Squeeze has put out a great article on the green initiatives that Chicago's museums are taking. You can also take a look at the city's Department of Environment web site for information. As always, you can sign up for A Fresh Squeeze through wikipower and in the process help the environment as Wikipower will donate $0.25 to the Field Museum's Carbon Nuetral Program. Email the blog when you sign up and we will make sure the donation is made.

Environmental News Network has some new articles on water conservation and wind power.

Greenmaker, a company featured here at wikipower, has been featured on iVillage. The video is here.
